VRAT Side Console models are equipped with a rugged yet lightweight aluminum console and tinted windshield. The instrument panel includes an RPM gauge and integrated switch panel to operate the lights, bilge pump, and auxiliary electronics.
The VRAT line of hulls come standard with a lightweight perforated floor. This is a serious upgrade over the average ‘jon boat’ and allows for water to drain through. The perforated design also reduces overall weight, which improves speed and fuel efficiency.
Havoc’s step transom design adds several befefits to the hull. It moves flotation foam compartments to the outside, freeing up storage space inside the boat. The steps also provide an easy place to get in and out of the boat, which is a huge benefit when you’re wading, boating with kids, or loading a dog.
Semi-V Front | Side Console | Step Transom
The VRATSCST is our most full-featured hull in the V-RAT family. This hull is a lighter duty model that is ideal for jet motors in the 40-60 HP range. It has a semi-V front, a flat bottom, and our step transom design. The step transom moves the motor further back outside the floorplan of the boat, giving you the full area of the rear deck as a fishing platform – and the convenience of the steps make it easy to get in and out of the boat when wading or swimming.
The aluminum side console is rugged, yet lightweight, and features essential tools like an RPM gauge, switch panel for electronics, and tinted windshield. We built the VRATSCST with lateral C-channel bracing and a perforated floor to trim hull weight and still build a durable boat that meets Havoc manufacturing standards.
